Adult Education:

The adult Sunday School class that meets at 9 a.m. in the Valley Vista Room will continue through out the summer months. The current class, "Who Are We as Presbyterians?; What We Believe and Why" , which is lead by Dick Brown, concludes on June 6. Starting on June 13, Pastor Matt will continue on this theme with "Presbyterian Basics".  No outside reading is required, so stop by any Sunday to join the class. It's a wonderful opportunity to brush up on some of the basics of our denomination and get to know others in our faith family.

Young at Heart

Young at Heart, our senior fellowship group, is back. No hot dishes to cook for a potluck, though.

Make your reservation now for the next outing: "Millionaires & Mansions" tour planned for August 19th at 10:30!  Hop on Ollie the Trolley and take a trip back in time. See many of Omaha's mansions on the Gold Coast and hear stories of people who made Omaha what it is today. Tour and lunch is $20 for members and $25 for non-members of the Durham Museum. Reservations and payment needs to be in no later than June 20th.  Give Sue Howard (537-1085) or Joyce Luster (292-2904) a call for details.

We'll have more outings for 2010 so be sure to keep watching the newsletter and church calendar. You won't want to miss this opportunity to visit interesting places and enjoy the fellowship of other seniors in our church family!
